WEEE RECYCLING

The UK WEEE Regulations came into effect on 1st July 2007, and require Retailers and Makers to support the recycling of UK Waste Electric and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). Under the Regulations, a Producer is defined as a business that produces, imports or rebrands electrical and electronic goods for sale or hire in the UK.

Manchester Waste are a fully licensed AATF (Authorized, Authorised Treatment Facility) for the acceptance and processing of WEEE waste.
